Streets

The Village of Gilbertsville and Otsego County each maintain certain streets within the Village of Gilbertsville. This includes improvement, repair, replacement, and snow removal.

Sidewalks

The Village maintains sidewalks beside many of the streets around the Village. The Village Department of Public Works will work to remove snow from the sidewalks as quickly as possible following each snowstorm, after roadways have been cleared.

Street Lights

Street lights within Village limits are maintained by New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) and paid for by the Village.
